WARM TIPS: 

• Green for headphones, red for microphone. A jack for mic and a jack for audio of one headphone, NOT 2 headphones. When connected to the PlayStation 4 Controller, the in-game audio and chat features are supported, but the sound settings need to be adjusted. 

For video recording on smartphone, If microphone does not get detected, use an app that has option for audio source as "external microphone" (open camera is one such app).
